Sunday 31st January 2021
Start Point: Wentworth Falls Station (8:20am)
End Point: Blackheath Station (6:45pm)
Alltrails Stats:
Distance: 35.28 km completed
Elevation: 1,564 m
Moving Time: 9:07:11
Total Time: 10:26:34
Calories Burnt: 3,850
Weather: 17’C, misty & rainy whole day
Difficulty: 7/10 -> Taking distance/elevation/terrain & weather into account. This walk is relatively straightfoward as about 60% of it is firetrail / road. The descent down to blue gum forrest through shortridge pass is probably the trickiest bit in the wet (and the detour to Dr.Darks Cave). Once you reach the bottom of blue gum, there is a 600m straight up climb to the top of Perry’s lookdown.
Track notes: -> Notes TBA

Meet the Author

Hi everyone! I'm William Chow, 27 year old hiker from Sydney, Australia. One of my many passion is hiking, trail running, camping, star gazing and exploring the outdoors so thanks for stopping by. Since I go hiking/bushwalking almost every weekend (and multi day hikes now and then when time allows), I decided to dedicate a site (seperate from my personal blogging site) to share my adventures on every walk I do, and I hope you feel my passion in my blog enough to do some walks yourself!
